Is Amazon coming to Pakistan? I was looking for answers when I found a group of these overseas Pakistanis who are trying to bring Amazon to Pakistan. They were optimistic about it. Now I am too.
Saqib Azhar and Faisal Azhar are brothers who run a company called ‘Enablers‘. The company provides services to the local businesses to create their online accounts on giant marketplace websites and reach the global audience.
Saqib Azhar, CEO of Enablers, has vowed to bring the largest eCommerce marketplace Amazon to Pakistan. He has the help from his brother Faisal Azhar, COO of Enablers.
Another overseas Pakistani Sunny Ali who runs a company Extreme Commerce has also reported that the eCommerce giant will come to Pakistan in 2020.
Is it good news? No! It is great news. We believe that over 200,000 job opportunities will be created in the first year of Amazon’s arrival in Pakistan. The job opportunities will double next year.
Extreme Commerce has been running its operations in Pakistan and has already enabled thousands of Pakistanis to start selling using Amazon FBA, to read more about business ideas, click the link below.

Amazon’s Arrival – What do we conclude?
It is important to note that the Pakistan government has been trying to bring international businesses to invest in Pakistan. We have seen some real efforts from the authorities to bring Amazon and PayPal to Pakistan. Though the efforts are still not being rewarded. We hope that if we keep trying, Amazon will come to Pakistan.

Pakistan has the world’s 6th largest population. We have some of the world’s finest goods to export. For example, the list below shows something extraordinary.
- Miscellaneous textiles, worn clothing: US$4.1 billion (Pakistan’s largest export: 17.1% of total exports)
- Cotton: $3.5 billion (14.9%)
- Knit or crochet clothing, accessories: $2.9 billion (12%)
- Clothing, accessories (not knit or crochet): $2.6 billion (10.9%)
- Cereals: $2.4 billion (9.9%)
Also, Pakistan is the world’s 4th largest exporter of rice, 4th largest freelance services provider, and an iconic sports items exporter. The potential of Pakistani companies is way more than their current exports. One of the reasons is the lack of policies, hindrance in transportation of products overseas and lack of recognition throughout the world.
Amazon can provide recognition and then Pakistan government will have to deal with the local hindrances.
I will be posting live updates regarding Amazon coming to Pakistan. Let’s hope that we get to hear to good news in 2020.

Thank you for sharing information. Recently, Amazon has declared that it’s adding Pakistan to its seller’s list. Amazon is known as an e-commerce giant that has now opened its door to Pakistani sellers almost two months ago. Official Pakistan Post has been appointed to look after its delivery services in the country. Therefore, the government of Pakistan has run a postal service to make all efforts to capitalize on the possibility provided by Amazon. There is news spreading around that they have started to set up facilitation centers nationwide. These facilitation centers will be responsible for the shipment and delivery of consignments to and from Amazon depots. Now, the question is how to use Amazon in Pakistan?
