Ben Dunk the bubblegum man and skipper Sohail Akhtar helped Lahore to registered their 3rd win in the 23rd match of HBL PSL-V. Karachi Kings were unable to defend a total of 187/5 in 20 overs. Lahore Qalandars are now moved out of the bottom spot.

Lahore won the toss and elected to field first.
Karachi lost their opener at the score of 10 when David Weisse’s direct hit sent back Sharjeel to pavilion.
In 3rd over of the innings, Alex Hales was dropped at the score 18 then later Hales was unbeaten on 80.
Babar Azam was caught on the extra cover by skipper Sohail Akhtar and scored 38 off 29.
Maaz got his second wicket by sending Delport to the pavilion, in 12th over Kings were on 90 with the loss of two wickets and Ifthekhar got run out at the total of 94 then Hales and Walton brought back Kings on line and Walston scored impressive 45 off 20 balls and got out on Salman Irshad’s ball.

Alex Hales scored 80 and was unbeaten. Kings set the target of 187/5 in 20 overs.
Chasing 188 Lahore Qalandar’s start was poor as they lost Fakhar Zaman over a duck in the very first over courtesy Muhammad Amir.
Professor Hafeez was the second who got caught on Umar Khan’s delivery. Then the six machine Dunk was back into the attack.
He smashed dozen of sixes to every bowler and trashed King’s bowling attack and snatch victory from Karachi’s jaws. Dunk was unstoppable, Sohail and Dunk’s 140 runs partnership helped Qalandars to registered their 3rd win in HBL PSL-V.
Sohail Akhtar scored 68 off 46 balls and was unbeaten and Ben Dunk was one run shorten to complete his century, scored 99 of just 46 balls.
Both played till the end of the innings and chased down the target of 188 with five balls to spare.
