PSL action returned back to the city of lights Karachi. Babar and Sharjeel’s smashing half-centuries helped Karachi to beat Lahore.
Karachi with the added advantage of playing at their home gave the treasure of victory to their fans at National Stadium Karachi.

Match Summary
Karachi won the toss and decided to field first.
Lahore started the innings with smashing boundaries but at the score of 41 Umaid Asif strikes into the inside edge and Zaman walks back on just 17 runs off 13 balls.
Chris Lynn got caught by Ifthekhar on Arshad Iqbal’s ball and scored 5 off 4.
Skipper Sohail Akhter scored a half-century on 37 balls it’s his second half-century in this season of HBL PSL.
In 12th over Ben Dunk went back to pavilion and score just 9 off 14 balls and with him Lahore Qalandar’s hopes too as he is the hitter of Lahore Qalandars
Arshad Iqbal strikes again and this time he sent back Sohail Akhtar to the pavilion.
Sohail played a great inning of 68 runs off 48 balls.

Qalandars finished at 150 for 5 in 20 overs, the target for Karachi Kings was 151 with the run rate for 7.55 in 20 overs.
Chasing the score of 151 King’s openers hunted down the total score with 13 balls spare.
Sharjeel scored his second half-century in this season of HBL PSL and Babar scored his 11th HBL PSL half-century and 38th in the T20 format.
Both the openers played beautiful strokes and trash the bowling attack of Lahore Qalandars.
Shaheen tried hard but this time he could get a wicket. Babar and Sharjeel did not spare Rauf, Dilbar Samit, and Shaheen and their bowling attack failed in front of these master class batsmen.
Kings chased down the target of 151 in 17.1 overs.
Babar and Sharjeel completely and utterly overwhelmed the Qalandars and Karachi is the second team to win PSL match by 10 wickets after Peshawar Zalmi.

Sharjeel Khan for his blistering 74 off 59 declared as player of the match.
