Well, for business-minded people, every increase in demand becomes an opportunity to become a supplier. Organic farming is one of them. Due to an overwhelming response to my previous post about business ideas in Pakistan, I have now started elaborating on the most profitable ones in detail. In this article, I have gathered top organic farming business ideas in Pakistan.
What is Organic Farming?
You need to learn the first things first. Organic farming refers to growing/producing food items without the use of chemicals. This could be your regular vegetables, the only difference would be to grow them without using artificial chemicals.
What do I Need to Work on these Organic Farming Business Ideas?
Now, since you know what organic farming is, you might already be thinking about some of the items that you can grow. I would suggest looking at a few things before you jump into this business. There are items that you can grow in agricultural lands having at least 50,000 sq meters of area. Then there are items that you can grow in as low as 1000 sq feet of land.

Fish Farming – Organic Farming Business Ideas
We know that fish farming is a profitable business. The best part is that you do not need a huge investment to start fish farming. Pond construction per acre roughly costs about 3 lakh rupees, water flow for per-acre land would be about 15 gallons per minute, however, who is looking to start with 1 acre of land? You can start with as low as 2000 sq feet and construct no more than 5 ponds to hold the water. This is all you need to start and then improve as you go.
