The ageless Malik scored his 5th PSL century on just 25 balls and 60th of his carrier. This was an excellent knock by Malik and in 15 over match his team needed the big total which he provides.

Malik’s catch was dropped at 36 by Muhammad Nawaz and later he scored his fifty.

Hasnain clean bowled Malik right after completing his century at 54 off 27. Hasnain took two wickets in the same over he sent back Livingstone along with Malik to Pavillion. Husnain bowling figures were 4-34 but couldn’t help to restrict Zalmi to set a grand total of 170 in just 115 overs.

The new skipper of Peshawar Wahab Riaz was so good with the ball and was on a hat-trick as he sent Ahmed Shehzad and Cutting to the Pavillion through Ben cutting was sent earlier for batting but unfortunately, he got caught at the score of 17.

Later Wahab took Quetta’s skipper wicket and Quetta’s batting line shattered and scored 140 in 15 overs.

Player of the Match

Shoaib Malik for his brilliant performance declared as the player of the match. when top-order batsmen were back to Pavilion then Malik was the one who maintained the momentum for Zalmi and helped to set the big target of 170 in 15 overs.

Quetta slips to number 5 in point table just above Lahore Qalandars and Peshwar Zalmi is back on the track and is on 3rd place right below the Islamabad united. To defend the title Quetta needs to bounce back in their next matches otherwise things will be different.
