This Monday DOW University of health sciences Karachi claimed that they have created a cure for Coronavirus. By talking to a news channel expert from DOW University address that they have created a drug. The drug named as Intravenous Immunoglobulin is great progress in a fight against COVID-19.
They said that from the recovered patient of the coronavirus, globulin was assembled with purified antibodies. This is going to be a great cure and hope in the situation of the COVID-19 disaster. We are in a situation where everyone is facing crises created by coronavirus pandemic. Our system, our economy and most importantly our lives are in danger. Among all this verse scenario this drug is going to be a great relief.
A clinical trial of blood plasma therapy is already allowed by the drug regulatory authority of Pakistan. But this drug works differently than blood plasma therapy. In blood plasma therapy plasma of the patient recovered from the coronavirus is used to cure other patients fighting against COVID-19.
Although blood plasma therapy is a bit working effectively to cure against coronavirus, we need a proper drug to use. As many lives are in danger due to the coronavirus pandemic. We need to overcome the crises as soon as possible.
According to the medical experts, the drug is tested on animals and it seems effective. Now we have to see more positive results of this drug as it is going to be used on infected patients of the coronavirus. The latest reports on coronavirus pandemic tell that about 5,374 peoples are infected in the whole country. The death toll rises to 93 till now. There are more chances for more people going to be infected in the coming days. The situation is going worse day by day. Even after the announcement of the lockdown the coronavirus patients’ rate is not going to stop. there is a severe increase in the infected person rate every day. we have to stop this we have to move one step ahead to fight against this novel COVID-19.
